Process for online designs

Once we have received your invitation order, we will contact you within two business days to finalize the specifics of your order.  An initial $35.00 non-refundable design deposit is required to begin the design process.  This deposit will be credited to your final invoice. Within three business days of receiving your deposit we will email a text proof to you for your review and approval.

Once your text approval and deposit are received, production will begin. Orders generally take about 4-6 weeks depending on the complexity, quantity and production schedule. Orders allowing less production time may be subject to a 25% rush charge.


Samples & Swatches

We make every effort to portray the essence of each design accurately, however, electronic viewing has its limitations and we recommend that you acquire a sample of your choice before making a final decision.  Did you know that Papersilk offers free personalization of samples and free shipping? You can order online samples here or through the design gallery pages.  Paper swatches are free of charge (dependent upon availability) with a sample order.  Samples and swatches are shipped USPS first class.  Samples shipped outside the US are subject to additional postage fees.


Shipping

Orders are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS First Class, unless otherwise requested.  Shipping costs will be added to the final balance of the order.  Overseas custom fees may apply to international shipping.


Payment Methods

Papersilk Studio accepts personal checks and money orders by mail and Mastercard/Visa, Discover, American Express and bank debit through Paypal.  Checks and money orders may be made payable to: "Papersilk Studio" and may be mailed to the address on the Contact page.  Please allow time for checks to process as production will not begin until then.  Checks returned for insufficient funds are subject to a $30.00 fee.  A sales tax of 5% is added to residents of Massachusetts.


Refunds & Cancellations

Because of the personalized nature of invitations and event materials, once production has begun all sales are final.  Cancellations of online portfolio orders may be made prior to proof approval.  The $35.00 initial design fee is non-refundable.   For custom orders the initial $100 design fee is non-refundable.

While we are confident in the safe and timely arrival of your order, Papersilk does not provide guarantees against shipping problems beyond our control.  Replacement of damaged goods are determined by situation at the sole discretion of Papersilk Studio.
